This is a private tour service: your vehicle and driver-guide are reserved for your booking. Couples, families, friends and solo travelers can book their own departure. The published three-day Marrakech–Fes and Fes–Marrakech routes are €389 per person for two travelers, or €778 for the party. The featured four-day tours are €569 per person for two, and the five-day desert tours are €689 per person for two. These are indicative group-size rates. Dates, accommodation category and availability affect the final quote; a lower large-group rate is not a two-person price.

Choose a desert tour when you have already arranged your city stays and want a two- to five-day Sahara journey between them. Choose a longer itinerary when you want your arrival, riads, guided city visits and desert stages planned together. A three-day crossing includes a desert camp night and a Dades overnight. Four days adds a Merzouga hotel or riad night and a dedicated 4×4 exploration day, with planned local visits before the camp evening. The main transfer days remain long. The featured routes start in Marrakech, Fes or Casablanca. A desert trip can link Marrakech and Fes or return to Marrakech. Longer Casablanca itineraries can end in Marrakech or return to Casablanca, according to the route. We also offer an Agadir departure and an Errachidia desert tour. Seven days can connect several cities with one camp night, but transfer days take a substantial share of the week. Ten days allows two nights around Merzouga and guided time in both Fes and Marrakech on the featured route. Twelve or fourteen days adds room for Chefchaouen, oasis stays or a Casablanca return. Start with the 10-day itinerary, then adjust it to your flights and priorities.

Merzouga is the base for the Erg Chebbi sand dunes and suits a multi-day Sahara tour. Agafay is a rocky landscape near Marrakech, convenient for a short outing or camp stay without the Sahara drive. Allow about 470 km and 7–8 hours of driving between Fes and Merzouga, 275 km and 4–5 hours between Merzouga and Dades, and 350 km and 6–7 hours between Dades and Marrakech. These estimates exclude meals, sightseeing and breaks. A full local Merzouga 4×4 day is around 50–80 km over 4–6 hours. Two-day crossings are particularly demanding, so share your tolerance for long drives before choosing.

The featured camp nights use private en-suite tents. Air conditioning, heating, electricity arrangements and other facilities depend on the selected camp and tent category. Allow approximately one hour each way, depending on camp location, the dunes and your agreed transfer plan. A 4×4 camp transfer can be arranged instead of camel riding. Your written quote identifies the private vehicle and driver-guide, overnight properties, room arrangements, meals, activities and transfers included in your selected route. Featured desert tours include dinner and breakfast at the desert-area overnight stops; city meal plans on longer itineraries vary. Lunches, extra drinks, entrance fees, optional activities and tips should be checked against the specific tour’s inclusion list.

For two or three travelers, we generally use a 4×4 such as a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado TX. Four to eight travelers generally travel in a Mercedes Vito or Ford Tourneo minivan; larger parties use a minibus. The vehicle is confirmed for your group and availability. Solo travelers can book privately, with the solo rate shown on each itinerary’s price table.

Spring and autumn usually offer a comfortable balance for city sightseeing and the desert. Summer afternoons in the Sahara can be very hot; winter desert nights and Atlas stages can be cold. Pack light layers, a warm outer layer when needed, sun protection, comfortable closed shoes, personal medication and a small overnight bag for camp. Clothing that covers shoulders and knees is useful for village and city visits.

Private travel allows you to discuss breaks and priorities, but mountain roads, long transfers, sand and uneven historic streets still need consideration. Tell us children’s ages and any mobility, seating, room or bathroom requirements. We will check the proposed vehicle and properties, discuss a 4×4 camp transfer if useful, and explain which visits may need adapting.

We can discuss extra city nights, a different balance of driving and sightseeing, or a longer route including the Atlantic coast.
