Fes Royal Golf Club was designed by Cabell B Robinson, opened for play in 1924 and is situated about 15 km from the City centre with the background of the majestic Atlas Mountains amongst the bravura olive grove.
Cabell B Robinson put his heart in this project, emphasizing the natural form of the landscape with rolling fairways and the dangerously sloping greens. The undulating fairways and inclined greens are very well guarded adding to its difficulty and making it an exciting course for golfers of all standards.
There are some big lakes which come into play on 3 of the holes, and a succession of hazards challenging even the best of golfers to come up with a good score. There are massive bunkers on the Fes Royal golf course, with the largest one over almost 1,200 square meters.
