Ideally situated in the Medina of Marrakech just a ten minute walk from the main square, this beautiful Riad is filled with richly shimmering colours of Purple, Red, Maroon, and adorned with soft fabrics of Velvet, Taffeta, Silk… The Riad Laora is warm and inviting from the minute you step through the door until such time as you have to drag yourself away.  The welcoming staff are kind, attentive and completely focused on making your stay the very best it can be.  As one of the most reasonably priced Riads we work with in Marrakech, it gives those on a slightly tighter budget the opportunity to experience life within the city walls without compromising on beauty, comfort and style.

Riad Laora - Completely

With traditional architecture, tasteful furniture, fascinating paintings and works of art, the Riad Laora exudes an ambience of relaxation and quiet calm amidst a crazy city.  It has plenty of modern comforts amongst the Moroccan craftsmanship, and its lovely fabrics and colours are a feast for the eyes.

It has a small plunge pool (not much bigger than my desk,,,,!!), which is perfect for a quick dip in the summer months to cool off.  It has a comfortable salon with fireplace, bright courtyard and lovely relaxing roof terrace.  Although there are no Hammam or spa facilities on sight, the staff can book you in to the Riad next door for a Hammam and massage.

There are seven rooms and suites altogether, each of which is individually decorated in deep, vibrant colours to match their respective names (Turquoise suite, Aubergine suite, Chocolate room etc).  All have air-conditioning and each en-suite bathroom has a bath or shower.  There are no telephones in the rooms.

Riad Laora is fully licensed, so you can take an aperitif in the salon or on the roof terrace at any time you wish.  Breakfast is included, and can be enjoyed in your room, on the roof terrace, in the courtyard or in front of a roaring fire in the salon on a winter’s day.  Lunch and dinner are also available on request.

The price shown above is based on two people sharing a room, and includes airport transfers on arrival and departure. If you have asked for flights to be included, the price shown is based on Royal Air Maroc flights. It may be cheaper using one of the low-cost airlines - please call our dedicated sales team for further details.

  • The suites are large enough to be made into twins with the use of an extra bed – all rooms are doubles.
  • Minimum 2 night stay at all times with the exception of High Season
  • Minimum of 5 consecutive nights must be booked during High Season: Christmas and New Year Period – 18 December to 3 January, Easter period - 9 April to 9 May, and again from 23 October to 6 November.
