Dar Ayniwen - Completely

A fabulously unique and luxurious property situated in the heart of the palm groves of Marrakech, this hidden gem offers privacy, beauty, and total relaxation for singles, couples and families alike.  Enjoy the five acres of luscious gardens which are alive with perfume and bird song, and filled with palm, orange, fig and centuries-old olive trees, sophisticated terraces, a Moorish patio inspired by the palaces of Morocco, Cacti garden, an English lawn and a gorgeous heated pool which is incredibly hard to resist!  After dark a fairytale landscape emerges, with candlelit lanterns surrounding the pool, their soft shimmering lights mirrored on its surface affording a stunningly beautiful effect.

The eclectic mix of antiques and knick knacks amassed by the owner, not just from Morocco but from all four corners of the globe make for a fascinating feast for the eye.  There is a comfortable living room with fireplace for chilly evenings, and the use of the Hammam and sauna are included.  An office with fax, computer and internet is available for those who find it impossible to remain incommunicado.  Although there is the choice of two dining rooms, guests can eat wherever the mood takes them.  Breakfast is included, lunch and dinner available on request.

Whilst staying at Dar Ayniwen the house car with driver is available for local travel (free of charge), for example to take you to dinner, for a round of golf or to spend the afternoon at D’Jemaa el Fna (the main square in Marrakech).

The eight suites - Mucha, Tiwaline I, Tiwaline II, Shehrazade, Colonnade, Galaxy, Romane Pavilion, La Rotonda Pavilion - all lavishly decorated in rich colours, fabrics, furnishing and more collectables are sumptuous in both comfort and style. Three of the suites have their own private garden and Jacuzzi, and all have discreet mod-cons including air conditioning, CD players, mini bars, safes and cable TV and DVDS.

A young chef and a traditional Moroccan cook merge their talents to offer guests the most wonderfully delicate and authentic flavours.  Using only local fresh produce, the menu will take you on a journey through Moroccan gastronomy and classical Italian cuisine, or anything else you fancy – just ask and they will do their utmost to accommodate your requests.

Children ( under 12 years old) - Lunch and dinners taken with the parents are free of charge.
