“Tigmi was full, so we were offered an upgrade to a room in the private ‘riad’ section with a terrific terrace and the most wonderful panoramic views across the fields to Marrakech. We only stayed one night, and would have loved to stay for longer in this beautiful hotel. Tigmi also offered the best breakfast we had all week!” GN

“I have reluctantly returned from Morocco after a simply amazing stay at Tigmi. I was traveling alone for the first time looking for some serious rest and relaxation as well as some major retail therapy. I found these but also so much more. Tigmi is a heavenly retreat, the rooms and gardens are paradise, but it also a home from home, with the manager and his team more like family than staff. It suits anyone traveling alone or with friends or with family. Tigmi is half an hours free shuttle bus ride from the madness of the medina, and the two experiences completely compliment each other. I cant wait to return, next time with my husband and son.” HL

“If the Riad in Marrakech was laid back, Tigmi was horizontal! Very much as we had hoped and expected, and made even better by the level of service – absolutely nothing was ever a problem. I have the misfortune of getting heatstroke in Marrakech, and by the time the mini bus got me back, Jean Paul and the staff were waiting to see if I was ok, and within minutes tea was delivered to my room! The food was excellent every night, and the atmosphere very relaxing and unhurried. I would definitely recommend Tigmi to anyone looking for relaxation. I read three books in 5 days – more than the last 2 years put together!” OM

“Perfect all round. We were put in the 3 room riad within the gardens with a private courtyard and plunge pool instead of the suite which was booked for us which was amazing!. James, the owner, was friendly and extremely helpful. Food was very good.” SH
“We absolutely loved the rustic location, the simple accommodation provided everything we needed. They lit the fire for us one evening in our courtyard which was magical. We really enjoyed the food – not too spicy for our 10 year old and the best lamb we have ever tasted! The bus service into Marrakech worked really well, the people were charming and very helpful, and we had a wonderful time. We went for a rest and the hotel was perfect for us. We will be recommending Tigmi to our friends and will probably go back there ourselves.” TJ
