“Completely top class – a definite five stars for this beautiful Riad. It outshines all of the descriptions and is an absolute haven of peaceful tranquility. The staff without exception (and including Nanu the cat!) were wonderful, with nothing too much trouble. The food was extremely good – we were exhausted when we arrived, and so impressed by the welcome of the Riad we stayed for both lunch and dinner on our first day. I can not recommend this Riad highly enough to future prospective guests. The position couldn’t be better for walking into the Medina. We were woken by the nearby mosque, but we declined the offer of earplugs by the staff, as listening as the call to prayer as it spread around the old town was an important part of what was our first visit to Morocco. “ LA
“Riad Les Yeux Bleus is truly one of the best small hotels we have ever stayed in. It’s in a quiet street with a wonderful roof terrace on which to relax in the sun, but is a really easy 10-minute walk from the city centre. The staff are so nice and friendly and helpful as well.” GH
“Being taken down a narrow alley by our taxi driver did not invoke confidence in our chosen location, however once the door of the Riad opened we found ourselves in a wonderfully serene courtyard. We were greeted with Mint Tea and tour of the Riad. Our room was comfortable and had a small sitting area next door (although never used as the Pool and roof terrace were too inviting!). Being Ramadan, one of the highlights was sitting on the roof terrace at sunset as the call to prayer signaled the end of fasting for the day from the various Minarets in the vicinity. Another highlight was the meal freshly prepared for us the Riad – it was our best meal of the holiday! KD.
“Beautifully designed and furnished, this is a lovely, lovely riad within the medina. Quiet and calm but with no need of taxis to the sights and souks. The staff spoke French and limited English, but were friendly and helpful. Dinner served graciously around the courtyard pool with house can and tortoise for company. Fabulous all round.” MK

A lovely welcome was given and what a outstandingly beautiful place – such a great surprise after the trip from the airport. We had lunch and an evening meal there too and all was very good.TS
